Comando G La Bruja Estate 2024 is a vibrant Garnacha from the high-elevation vineyards of Cebreros, showing the pure, fresh side of Madrid’s mountains. Sourced entirely from estate fruit and produced in limited quantity, it captures the estate’s signature balance of energy, finesse, and stony precision.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a bright, lifted profile with vivid red-fruit character and a clean, floral edge. The nose is aromatic and expressive, with notes of red berries, herbs, and mountain flowers, layered over a subtle rocky, almost flinty impression. On the palate, it is more meaty and juicy than previous vintages, yet still finely structured and elegant, with a stony, fine-boned texture. There is excellent freshness and acidity, moderate ripeness, and a balanced 14% alcohol, suggesting both immediate appeal and the ability to age gracefully for several years.

Production
La Bruja Estate 2024 comes entirely from Cebreros, in the Madrid region of Spain, where Garnacha benefits from a cooler, high-altitude mountain terroir. The vineyard’s rocky soils and fresh climate help preserve acidity and aromatic lift, while the fruit was harvested to capture full ripeness without losing tension. It was vinified to emphasize purity and detail, with a restrained, less reductive style than some earlier bottlings, and bottled in August 2024.

This is a versatile red for grilled lamb, roast chicken, mushroom dishes, charcuterie, or tapas featuring cured meats and aged cheeses. Serve it slightly cool, around 14–16°C, and decant briefly if you want the aromatics to open up more quickly.
