Tasting Notes
In the glass, it typically shows a deep ruby to garnet color with excellent concentration. The nose is inviting and layered, with notes of ripe plum, black cherry, blackberry, violets, and subtle hints of truffle, cedar, cocoa, and warm spice. On the palate, Clinet Pomerol 2014 is smooth and concentrated, with ripe dark fruit wrapped in fine-grained tannins and balanced acidity. The finish is long and refined, showing earthy complexity as it opens in the glass. While it is approachable in its youth, this vintage should continue to develop beautifully over the next decade or more.

Clinet is located in Pomerol on Bordeaux’s Right Bank, where gravel and clay-rich soils help produce wines with both power and elegance.
