Tasting Notes
In the glass, it typically shows a bright, polished pale straw color. The nose is vivid and inviting, with citrus, lime and freshly cut grass leading the way, followed by more layered notes of orange marmalade, pear, pineapple and a subtle hint of floral lavender honey. The palate is generous yet focused, carrying grapefruit, melon and a touch of lychee through a juicy, mineral-tinged finish. There is notable texture from the old-vine fruit and careful élevage, while the lively acidity keeps everything fresh and balanced. Production
Winemaker Christopher Tynon blends fruit from several Napa Valley sites, each contributing a distinct element to the final wine. The core comes from old vines in Eastern Rutherford, prized for density, weight and citrus character, while Calistoga parcels and fruit from the cooler eastern side of Napa add freshness and bright acidity. The grapes are hand-harvested in the cool night hours to preserve purity and minerality, then whole-cluster pressed and fermented cool before aging in a combination of new oak, stainless steel and concrete egg.

This Sauvignon Blanc is a natural match for fresh seafood, oysters, grilled prawns, goat cheese, asparagus, summer salads and light Asian dishes with citrus or herbal notes. Serve well chilled at around 8-10°C, and there is generally no need to decant; simply open and enjoy its freshness and aromatic lift.
