Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a bright ruby-red color that hints at its youthful energy and classic style. The nose is refined and inviting, with red berry fruit lifted by delicate sweet spice and a subtle sense of warmth and maturity.
On the palate, it is soft, fresh, and well balanced, with a smooth texture and a pleasing sense of harmony. The finish is long and persistent, giving it both immediate appeal and enough structure to continue developing nicely over the next few years.
Production
This Ripasso comes from Valpolicella Classico in Veneto, where the grape blend of Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, and Molinara reflects the area’s traditional identity. The wine undergoes fermentation for around 10 days, with the cap pumped over twice daily and a destage carried out halfway through fermentation, helping build color, aroma, and texture while preserving freshness.

This is an excellent match for rich pasta dishes, roasted poultry, grilled meats, and braised beef, as well as aged cheeses and mushroom-based dishes. Serve it at around 16-18°C; decanting for 30-60 minutes can help bring out its aromas and soften the wine further.
