Tasting Notes
Pale straw in the glass, it shows a bright, luminous appearance that hints at its crisp profile. The nose is typically expressive and finely layered, with notes of citrus, white flowers, orchard fruit, and subtle mineral and smoky nuances from its Graves origins. On the palate, it is poised and vibrant, combining freshness with a supple, rounded texture. Expect a refined balance of fruit, acidity, and understated oak influence, with a long, elegant finish. While enjoyable young for its energetic fruit, it can also develop additional complexity over several years of careful cellaring.

Production
Clarté de Haut-Brion comes from the gravelly soils of Pessac-Léognan, where the terroir is especially well suited to producing refined white Bordeaux with depth and tension. The vineyard benefits from Bordeaux’s temperate maritime climate, which helps preserve freshness and aromatic clarity. Grapes are harvested carefully to protect their natural purity, then vinified with a focus on preserving finesse and balance, often including fermentation and maturation in oak to add texture and complexity.
