Tasting Notes
Deep ruby in the glass, it opens with aromas of dark cherry, ripe plum, graphite, and a hint of cedar. The bouquet feels layered and polished, with the warmth of the 2015 vintage balanced by a fresh, stony undertone that keeps the wine lifted and refined. On the palate, the wine is rich and generous, with concentrated black and red fruit framed by silky texture and well-rounded tannins. Notes of graphite, earthy minerality, and subtle oak add depth to a long, graceful finish. While already harmonious, the wine has the structure to evolve beautifully over time, especially in this large-format bottle.

Production
The vineyards are situated on the limestone plateau west of Saint-Émilion, where the calcareous terroir lends the wine its distinctive mineral line and fine tension. Farming is carried out with sustainable respect for the soils and vines, and the harvest is done by hand to ensure only the best fruit is selected. Vinification takes place parcel by parcel in small vats, allowing each plot to express itself with precision. The wine is then matured in French barriques, with a moderate proportion of new oak, a regimen designed to preserve the natural balance between fruit, acidity, and structure.

This is a fine match for roasted lamb, beef tenderloin, duck breast, mushroom dishes, and aged hard cheeses. Serve at 16–18°C, and consider decanting for 1–2 hours if opening now to let the wine fully раскрыться and show its depth and aromatic detail.
