Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a deep, vibrant red color. The nose is expressive and unmistakably Saint-Émilion, with notes of blackcurrant, nuts, and a subtle hint of leather from barrel ageing. The palate is full-bodied yet refined, with silky tannins and a long, well-shaped finish. The blend brings together Merlot’s softness and Cabernet Franc’s aromatic lift, giving the wine both supple texture and lively fruit. It should age gracefully for several years, gaining extra nuance and depth with time.

Production
The grapes come from carefully tended vineyards in Saint-Émilion, where the vines are treated with great respect throughout the season. Pruning and green harvesting are carried out to limit yields and improve the quality and concentration of the final fruit. The wine is fermented in temperature-controlled concrete tanks, then matured in French oak barrels for up to 16 months before bottling at the château.

Food & Serving
This is a great match for roasted lamb, beef, duck, or mushroom-based dishes, as well as hard cheeses. Serve it at around 16–18°C, and decanting for 1–2 hours is recommended, especially if you want to open up the wine’s aromas and soften its youthful structure.
