Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a deep golden color that signals its long aging. The nose opens with dried flowers and vanilla, followed by a warm layer of dried fruit and subtle oak spice. On the palate, it is rich, full-bodied, and rounded, with a seamless connection between aroma and taste. Notes of plum and dried fruit carry through to a graceful finish, leaving a polished, lingering impression. With its maturity and structure, it has excellent drinking appeal now and will continue to hold well in bottle.

Production
This Cognac comes from Petite Champagne, a cru known for producing eaux-de-vie with excellent aging potential and refined aromatic expression. Château Montifaud ages the spirit for 18 years in old oak barrels, a patient approach that preserves the fruit while adding complexity, softness, and depth over time.

Food & Serving
Best enjoyed neat in a tulip glass to appreciate its layered aromas, or with a few drops of water if you prefer a slightly softer profile. It pairs well with dark chocolate, dried fruit desserts, roasted nuts, or a fine cigar, and should be served at room temperature. Decanting is not necessary.
