Production
Château Lafite Rothschild is based in Pauillac in Bordeaux’s Médoc region, where deep gravel soils and a maritime climate help shape the estate’s precise, structured wines. The estate is farmed with strict yield control, manual harvesting, and careful vineyard work throughout the year, with minimal chemical intervention and the use of organic fertilization where possible. The Grand Vin is traditionally vinified from carefully selected parcels, with grapes from mature vines contributing to the wine’s balance and finesse.

This is an excellent match for classic dishes such as roast lamb, beef tenderloin, duck breast, or game bird, as well as dishes with mushrooms or truffle.
