Tasting Notes

Production
The grapes come from Entre-Deux-Mers in Bordeaux, an area whose name means “between the two seas,” referring to its position between the Garonne and Dordogne rivers. This terroir is well suited to classic Bordeaux varieties such as Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, which are typically harvested with an eye toward balance, freshness, and ripe tannin. The blend is vinified in the traditional Bordeaux style to preserve the wine’s dark fruit, spice, and structure.

Food & Serving
This is an excellent match for roast beef, venison, lamb, and other richly flavored meat dishes, where the wine’s tannins and acidity can stand up to the intensity of the food. Serve at 16–18°C, and consider decanting for around 30–60 minutes if you want to soften the tannins and open up the aromas.
