Tasting Notes
In the glass, the 2021 vintage typically shows a deep ruby colour with a bright, youthful core. The nose leans toward blackcurrant, dark cherry, plum, cedar, graphite, and subtle floral and spice notes, with a fresh, lifted profile that reflects the cooler character of the vintage. On the palate, expect a medium to medium-full body with fine-grained tannins, lively acidity, and a precise balance between ripe dark fruit and savoury complexity. The wine should develop gracefully over time, gaining more tertiary notes of tobacco, leather, and earth with bottle age. It has good aging potential and can reward cellaring for many years.
