Tasting Notes
In the glass, this wine shows a deep, inviting color typical of a well-built Bordeaux. The nose opens with aromas of black fruit, spice, and well-integrated oak, giving it both generosity and restraint. On the palate, it is fresh and flavorful, with a core of red and black fruit carried by a smooth, elegant frame. The finish is refined and balanced, and while already expressive, it should continue to develop nicely over the coming years, gaining even more nuance with bottle age.

Production
The grapes are harvested entirely by hand and sorted in the vineyard before vinification. Alcoholic fermentation takes place at around 28°C for approximately six days, followed by about three weeks of maceration to extract color, flavor, and structure. The wine is then aged for 14 to 18 months in French oak barrels, with 60% new oak, adding depth, texture, and subtle complexity.

Food & Serving
This is a natural match for classic regional dishes, especially lamb, duck, and beef. It also pairs well with a selection of cheeses. Serve at around 16–18°C; decanting for one to two hours is recommended if the wine is being enjoyed young.
