Production
Hommage à Jacques Perrin comes from a selection of very old vines grown on the iconic galets roulés and clay-limestone soils of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, where the warm Mediterranean climate is moderated by the region’s cooling winds. The grapes are harvested by hand and vinified with great care to preserve the intensity and individuality of the fruit, with the final blend traditionally centered on Mourvèdre and supported by the classic Rhône varieties used at Beaucastel.

This wine is best served with richly flavored dishes such as lamb shoulder, game, roasted beef, duck, or truffle-based cuisine, as well as mature hard cheeses. Serve at around 16–18°C, and decant for several hours before drinking to allow the aromatics and structure to fully open.
