La Dune rosé comes from Domaine de Bachen in Les Landes, in the southwest of France, where the project was developed by Lionel Osmin together with Michel Guérard and his daughters. The estate was purchased by Guérard in 1983, and the wine has since been crafted as a tribute to the region’s gastronomic culture. The focus of the project is on producing a fresh, elegant rosé with a distinctly culinary profile, although specific vineyard, harvest, and vinification details are not provided.

Château de Bachen is closely tied to the legacy of Michel Guérard, one of France’s most influential chefs and a pioneer of nouvelle cuisine. In 1983, he fell in love with Les Landes and acquired Domaine de Bachen, later launching this rosé project with Lionel Osmin and his daughters. Guérard’s restaurant Les Prés d’Eugénie earned three Michelin stars and maintained that level for more than 40 years, making his name synonymous with French culinary excellence. After his passing in 2024, his daughters and Lionel Osmin continue the project with the same enthusiasm and dedication.
