Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a deep ruby colour with the first signs of maturity at the rim. The bouquet is intense and layered, opening with dark berries, blackcurrant, cedar and tobacco, then unfolding into subtler notes of cocoa, liquorice and graphite. On the palate, the wine is powerful yet beautifully poised, with generous concentration, silk-smooth tannins and a long, refined finish. While it is already in a superb drinking window, it still has excellent aging potential and will continue to evolve gracefully over many years.

Produced in Saint-Émilion on Bordeaux’s Right Bank, Cheval Blanc benefits from a distinctive terroir that helps deliver both power and finesse. Food & Serving
Best served with finely prepared dishes such as roast lamb, beef fillet, game birds, duck breast or truffle-based recipes. Serve at around 16–18°C. Decanting for 1–2 hours is recommended if opened now, especially to allow the wine’s mature aromas and texture to fully open up.
