On the palate, this Merlot is smooth and velvety, with ripe blackberry and cassis at the core, supported by gentle tannins and a rounded, mouth-filling texture. The finish is long and supple, with lingering notes of cedar and dark berries. While enjoyable now for its softness and charm, it should also hold well over the next few years as the structure integrates further.
