Crafted in the traditional method, it strikes a beautiful balance between freshness, delicate red-fruit character, and classic Champagne elegance. This cuvée is designed for those moments when you want something festive, expressive, and just a little bit indulgent.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, Rosé Royal shows a luminous salmon-pink hue with fine, persistent bubbles forming a delicate mousse. The nose is inviting and aromatic, offering notes of wild strawberries, raspberries, redcurrants, and a hint of citrus zest, layered with subtle pastry and floral undertones. On the palate, it is vibrant yet silky, combining juicy red berry flavors with crisp acidity and a touch of blood orange and stone fruit. A gentle vinosity from the base wines gives it enough structure to stand up to food, while the finish is clean, precise, and lingering, with a whisper of mineral freshness. Enjoyed now, it shows all its charm and energy, but it can also rest a few more years in bottle, gaining a bit more creaminess and complexity.

Production
Lété Vautrain crafts its Champagne from vineyards rooted in classic Champagne chalk and limestone soils, which lend natural tension and minerality to the wines. Grapes are harvested by hand to ensure careful selection of bunches, an essential step for producing high-quality rosé. Rosé Royal is typically made by blending still white and red base wines—often dominated by Pinot Noir with a portion of Chardonnay and/or Meunier—before the second fermentation in bottle. After this traditional méthode champenoise prise de mousse, the wine is aged on its lees to build texture and depth, then disgorged and given a measured dosage to highlight its bright, red-fruited profile without overwhelming sweetness.

Food & Serving
This rosé Champagne is exceptionally versatile at the table. It pairs beautifully with charcuterie, smoked salmon, tuna tartare, sushi, and lighter poultry dishes, as well as with fresh goat cheese, soft bloomy-rind cheeses, and berry-based desserts that are not overly sweet. Serve well-chilled at around 8–10°C (46–50°F) to preserve its freshness and fine mousse. A brief 5–10 minutes in the glass is enough to let it open up; decanting is not necessary, but using a tulip-shaped Champagne glass will showcase both its aromatics and its elegant texture.
