Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows the classic character of Grauburgunder with a clean, refined profile and plenty of freshness. The nose opens with ripe pear, subtle nutty tones, and a delicate almond-brioche note, while a discreet reductive edge adds tension and complexity. On the palate, the wine is supple and dry, with a rounded texture, mineral drive, and a balanced, elegant finish. Despite its early accessibility, it should also gain nuance with a few years of bottle age, developing more depth and layered complexity.

Production
The grapes come from old Grauburgunder vines on the limestone slopes of Ingelheimer Berg in Rheinhessen, where the soils give the wine its mineral backbone and structure. Harvesting is done entirely by hand, ensuring only healthy, fully ripe fruit is used. After a short maceration, the must is gently pressed and transferred to large wooden casks for both alcoholic and malolactic fermentation, then matured on full lees for two winters before being bottled unfiltered.

Food & Serving
This is a versatile white wine for dishes that benefit from texture and subtle richness, such as roasted poultry, veal, mushroom dishes, creamy pasta, or grilled fish. Serve chilled at around 10–12°C, and decanting is generally not necessary, though a short period in the glass can help the wine खुलen further.
