Sourced from different vineyard sites in Montalcino, it brings together the character of diverse soils and exposures for a wine of depth, elegance, and unmistakable regional identity.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows the deep, luminous ruby-garnet color typical of a refined Brunello. The nose opens with dark cherry, tobacco, and balsamic notes, followed by subtle layers of spice and earthy complexity. On the palate, it is beautifully concentrated and layered, with supple tannins, vibrant acidity, and a long, harmonious finish. The balance and structure suggest excellent aging potential, with the wine likely to develop further nuance over the next decade or more.

Production
The grapes come from vineyards in the northern part of Montalcino, including Canalicchio di Sopra and Le Gode di Montosoli, planted at 283 to 290 meters above sea level. The different soils and exposures contribute to the blend of Sangiovese expressions, while harvesting is done entirely by hand to preserve fruit quality. After a 15-20 day maceration, fermentation takes place in stainless steel at controlled temperatures. The wine is then aged for 36 months in 25 hl Slavonian oak casks, followed by an additional year of bottle aging before release.

This Brunello pairs beautifully with roasted red meats, game, and mature cheeses. Serve at 16-18°C, and consider decanting for at least an hour to allow the wine’s aromatics and structure to fully open.
