Tasting Notes
In the glass, Karla Solaris is bright and vivid, with a pale, clean appearance that hints at its freshness. The nose is expressive and energetic, opening with citrus, green apple, gooseberry, and a subtle herbal edge. On the palate, it is intense and zesty, with a firm line of acidity, good concentration, and a lightly textured feel from the short skin contact. A mineral, almost saline finish adds length and definition, while the overall style remains sharp, refreshing, and balanced. It is best enjoyed young for its primary fruit and vibrant acidity.

Production
The grapes come from Bognæs Vingaard in Sjælland, Denmark, where Solaris performs especially well in the cool northern climate. The fruit is harvested and handled gently, with whole clusters foot-tread and given 6 hours of skin contact to draw out extra flavour, structure, and complexity. The wine is then aged for 7 months in stainless steel tanks to preserve its freshness, precision, and clean fruit profile.

Food & Serving
This is an excellent match for shellfish, ceviche, grilled white fish with herbs, or a fresh summer salad with goat cheese. Serve chilled, ideally around 8-10°C, to highlight its crisp acidity and aromatic lift. Decanting is not necessary.
