Made from 100% Tempranillo grown in high-lying vineyards, it reflects the character of old vines and the classic Reserva style, with extended oak and bottle aging that adds polish and complexity.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, this wine shows a deep, intense ruby color that hints at its concentration. The nose is layered and elegant, opening with ripe black fruits and dried flowers before unfolding into cedar, leather, and toasted spice. On the palate it is full-bodied and well structured, with silky tannins, fresh balancing acidity, and a long, persistent finish. The combination of fruit, oak, and age gives it both immediate appeal and strong aging potential, allowing it to develop even more nuance over time.

Production
The grapes come from high-altitude vineyards in Ribera del Duero, where old Tempranillo vines grow under challenging conditions that naturally limit yields and concentrate flavor. Careful selection of the fruit is followed by slow fermentation, and the wine is aged for 30 months in a mix of oak barrels from different origins before spending at least 18 months in bottle to further harmonize the wine.

This Reserva pairs beautifully with grilled lamb, roasted beef, game, mature hard cheeses, and rich mushroom dishes. Serve at around 16–18°C; decanting for 1–2 hours is recommended to open up the aromas and soften the structure, especially if enjoying it young.
