“Les Grands Chaillots” comes from a single parcel in the southern sector of Nuits-Saint-Georges, where the name “Chaillots” refers to the abundant pebbles and gravel in the soil. These iron-rich, well-drained soils contribute freshness, structure, and a distinct mineral nuance. The grapes are fully destemmed, then aged exclusively in used oak barrels, including classic barriques as well as larger 350- and 500-liter casks, allowing the wine to develop texture while preserving its fruit.

This Bourgogne Rouge is a versatile partner for dishes such as roast chicken, duck breast, mushroom risotto, veal, game birds, or gently aged cheeses. Serve slightly cool, ideally around 14–16°C, to keep the wine’s freshness and aromatic lift at the fore. Decanting is not essential, but a short aeration can help the wine open up if enjoyed young.
