Bell'Aja Bolgheri 2024 is a polished Tuscan red from Bolgheri, crafted by San Felice with Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon from their Le Sondraie vineyard. Tasting Notes
In the glass, it is likely to show a deep ruby colour with youthful brightness, reflecting its recent vintage and the energy of the fruit. The nose should offer ripe dark berries, plum and blackberry notes, framed by subtle floral tones, Mediterranean herbs and a gentle hint of spice from the Cabernet Sauvignon. On the palate, expect a medium- to full-bodied wine with supple Merlot-driven fruit, fresh acidity and fine tannins that give shape without heaviness. The clay-sand soils of Le Sondraie should lend a graceful balance of richness and freshness, making this a wine that can be enjoyed young yet also has the structure to develop over the next few years.

Production
Bell'Aja comes from 6 hectares of vineyard at Le Sondraie in Bolgheri, planted on clay-rich sandy soils that are typical of the area. The vines are relatively young, averaging around 5 years of age, and are cultivated with the aim of expressing the site’s natural character rather than forcing a heavy style. Vinification is designed to preserve fruit purity and regional identity, resulting in a wine that reflects both the Bolgheri terroir and San Felice’s precise, terroir-driven approach.

Food & Serving
This wine pairs beautifully with grilled lamb, roasted poultry, Tuscan-style beef, and mushroom-based dishes, as well as aged cheeses and cured meats. Serve it at around 16–18°C; decanting is not essential for the 2024 vintage, but a short aeration of 20–30 minutes can help open the aromas if enjoyed soon after opening.
