Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a warm amber color with golden highlights, a sign of extended oak aging. The nose is layered and expressive, with notes of dried apricot, candied orange peel, vanilla, toasted wood, and soft spice. On the palate, it is smooth and well-rounded, offering flavors of dried fruit, caramel, honey, nutty oak, and gentle rancio complexity. The finish is long, warming, and elegant, with enough structure to suggest excellent balance and continuing harmony rather than further dramatic evolution.

Production
Produced in Bas-Armagnac, a terroir known for its sandy, iron-rich soils that yield especially aromatic and supple spirits, this Armagnac reflects the classic style of the region. After distillation, the spirit is aged patiently in oak casks for 20 years, allowing slow oxidation and gradual integration of wood, fruit, and spice. The result is a mature Armagnac with finesse, depth, and a naturally rounded profile.

Food & Serving
Best enjoyed neat as a contemplative after-dinner spirit, this Armagnac also pairs beautifully with dark chocolate, crème brûlée, almond tart, or a fine cigar. Serve slightly below room temperature, around 18–20°C, in a tulip-shaped glass to concentrate the aromas. Decanting is not necessary, though letting it breathe in the glass for a few minutes can enhance its complexity.
