Veuve Goudoulin Bas Armagnac 15 Ans is a beautifully matured expression from one of Armagnac’s most respected traditional houses. Drawn from the Bas Armagnac area, the most prized part of the region, it offers the depth, rustic charm and complexity that make aged Armagnac such a distinctive spirit.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it typically shows a warm amber to deep copper color, signaling its time in oak. The nose is layered and inviting, with notes of dried fruit, vanilla, spice, toasted wood and a gentle hint of rancio that comes with patient aging. On the palate, it is usually rich and rounded, balancing fruit sweetness with flavors of caramel, baking spice, walnut, oak and subtle leather. The finish is long and warming, with enough structure to keep the spirit lively while still showing the softness expected from 15 years of maturation. This is a bottle that can still evolve in bottle for some time, though it is already offering plenty of complexity now.

Produced in Bas Armagnac, a terroir known for its sandy soils and finesse, this Armagnac comes from a region especially valued for delivering supple, aromatic spirits with excellent aging potential. Food & Serving
Best enjoyed neat in a tulip glass at room temperature to fully appreciate its aromatics. It pairs naturally with dark chocolate, almond tart, dried fruits, blue cheese or a fine cigar, and does not generally require decanting, though allowing it a few minutes in the glass can help open the aromas.
