Argiolas Nuragus S'Elegas is a beautifully expressive white wine from the heart of Sardinia, made from the island’s indigenous Nuragus grape. Fresh, aromatic, and well-balanced, it reflects both the character of the grape and the long winemaking tradition of the Argiolas family, who have been dedicated to wine since 1938.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a bright straw-yellow color with inviting clarity. The nose is fragrant and fruit-driven, with a lively freshness that speaks clearly of the Nuragus grape and its Sardinian origins. On the palate, it is smooth, harmonious, and pleasantly full, offering a soft texture and rich fruit character balanced by a subtle, signature hint of bitterness on the finish. Thanks to its freshness and structure, it is best enjoyed young, when its aromatic energy is at its peak.

Production
Produced in Sardinia under the Nuragus di Cagliari DOC, this wine comes from vineyards rooted in the island’s warm Mediterranean climate and distinctive coastal terroir. The grapes undergo soft pressing and gentle crushing before fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, a method that preserves purity, freshness, and the natural aromatics of the variety. After fermentation, the wine rests for 1–2 months in bottle before release.

A versatile food wine, Argiolas Nuragus S'Elegas pairs well with seafood, grilled fish, shellfish, light pasta dishes, fresh salads, and mild cheeses. Serve chilled, ideally around 8–10°C, and decanting is not necessary.
