Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows the classic ruby-garnet hue expected of fine Brunello, with a bright, transparent core that hints at freshness and structure. The nose is layered and refined, opening with rose petals, ripe strawberry, sour cherry, wild herbs, and a mineral note that gives the wine a cool, stony edge. On the palate, it is elegant yet authoritative, with firm but polished tannins, vibrant acidity, and a long, savory finish. Flavors of cherry, red berry fruit, dried herbs, and earthy spice unfold gradually, giving the wine both immediate appeal and excellent aging potential. Production
Argiano’s Brunello comes from six carefully selected parcels in the Montalcino area, where Tuscany’s warm days, cool nights, and varied soils help Sangiovese achieve both ripeness and freshness. The grapes are harvested by hand to preserve fruit integrity and ensure only the best clusters are selected. Fermentation is followed by extended aging for around 3.5 years in large casks, a traditional approach that preserves purity of fruit and emphasizes structure, balance, and terroir expression.

Food & Serving
This Brunello is an excellent match for rich Tuscan dishes such as pappardelle with wild boar ragù, slow-braised beef, roast lamb, game, and mature hard cheeses like Pecorino. Serve it at 16–18°C, and decant for at least an hour if enjoying it young, as this will help the aromas open and soften the tannins.
