Description
Amour de Deutz Rosé 2013 is an elegant, prestige Champagne from one of the region’s most respected houses, presented here in a special gift box. Known for its finesse, balance, and refined rosé character, it captures the classic Deutz style: precise, graceful, and quietly luxurious. Produced only in exceptional vintages, it reflects both the heritage of the house and the craftsmanship behind top-tier Champagne.
Tasting Notes
In the glass, it typically shows a delicate salmon-pink hue with a fine, persistent mousse. The nose is expressive yet refined, with notes of wild strawberries, redcurrants, citrus zest, rose petals, and subtle pastry and brioche tones.
On the palate, it is poised and layered, combining freshness with creamy texture and bright red berry fruit. Expect a long, mineral-driven finish with excellent tension and purity. Thanks to the quality of the vintage and the prestige cuvée style, it has strong aging potential and can continue to evolve beautifully over time.
Production
Made in Champagne, France, Amour de Deutz Rosé 2013 comes from carefully selected vineyard parcels and is produced only in vintages that meet the house’s high standards. The Champagne region’s chalk-rich soils contribute to the wine’s hallmark minerality and freshness, while meticulous vineyard work ensures healthy, concentrated fruit. Vinification is carried out with precision to preserve elegance, aromatic clarity, and the fine mousse that defines the style.
Food & Serving
This rosé Champagne is ideal with refined dishes such as sushi, lobster, langoustine, duck breast with berry sauce, or roasted salmon. It also pairs beautifully with fine charcuterie and delicate berry-based desserts. Serve chilled at around 8–10°C, and decanting is not recommended; instead, allow a few minutes in the glass to fully open.
Producer
Deutz was founded in 1838 in Aÿ and has long been recognized as one of Champagne’s great traditional houses. Known for its understated style, technical precision, and commitment to quality, Deutz has built a strong reputation both in France and internationally. Its prestige cuvées, including the Amour de Deutz range, are among the house’s most celebrated wines and showcase its expertise at the highest level.
