Agnelli Viassone Langhe Nebbiolo 2023 is a vibrant, classically styled expression of Nebbiolo from Piedmont, offering the perfume and structure that lovers of the grape look for. Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows the translucent ruby hue typical of Nebbiolo. The nose is intensely aromatic, with rose petal, violets, cherry, raspberry, and a subtle layer of leather, dried herbs, and earthy spice. On the palate, the wine is juicy and energetic, with fresh acidity carrying the red-fruit core and firm tannins giving shape and length. It feels both elegant and structured, with a finish that hints at its ability to develop beautifully over time. While enjoyable now for its brightness and perfume, it has the backbone to age well for several years.

Made from Nebbiolo in Piedmont’s Langhe, this wine reflects the variety’s natural affinity for the region’s calcareous, hillside vineyards and cool climate. The grapes are typically harvested by hand at optimal ripeness to preserve aromatics and freshness, then vinified with an approach aimed at capturing purity of fruit, floral character, and the grape’s signature tannic structure.

Food & Serving
This is a great match for classic Piedmontese dishes such as tajarin with ragù, mushroom risotto, roasted poultry, veal, and braised meats. It also works well with aged cheeses and earthy dishes featuring truffle or porcini. Serve it slightly below room temperature, around 16–18°C, and consider a short decant if drinking young to help the aromas open up.
