Adulation Chardonnay 2023 is a refined California white wine that combines richness, elegance, and the generous character that has made Californian Chardonnay so admired. Crafted from carefully selected grapes grown in a distinctive terroir, it reflects both the quality of the fruit and the estate’s long-standing dedication to finesse.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, this Chardonnay shows a warm, inviting golden tone and excellent presence. The nose opens with expressive tropical fruit, layered with subtle vanilla and spice notes from oak ageing. On the palate, it is full-bodied and textured, offering flavours of apricot, peach, yellow fruit, vanilla, baking spice, and a touch of fresh-baked bread. The finish is long, powerful, and rounded, with enough structure to suggest it will hold up well for a few years if stored properly.

Production
The vines grow in California on calcareous clay and marl soils, where abundant sunshine is balanced by cooling breezes that help the grapes ripen slowly and evenly. The fruit is harvested by hand, with only the best grapes selected for this cuvée. After pressing, the wine is aged for several months in oak barrels in Adulation’s cellars, adding depth, richness, and complexity.

Food & Serving
This Chardonnay pairs beautifully with roasted chicken, creamy pasta, lobster, grilled salmon, or dishes with butter and mild spices. Serve slightly chilled at around 10–12°C, and decanting is not necessary.
