Pale straw in the glass with a bright, crystalline sheen, this Sauvignon Blanc opens with lifted aromas of citrus peel, gooseberry, green herbs, and subtle floral notes. On the palate it is crisp and focused, with vibrant acidity, juicy tropical and orchard fruit, and a clean mineral backbone that keeps the wine fresh and energetic. The finish is long and mouthwatering, with a delicate saline touch that adds further complexity. While enjoyable in its youth for its lively fruit and brightness, it should also hold nicely over the next few years, gaining a little more texture and nuance with short-term cellaring.
