Tasting Notes
Pale straw in the glass, it opens with fresh citrus, white peach, and subtle stone fruit, layered with flinty minerality, gentle spice, and a whisper of hazelnut. On the palate it is focused and elegant, balancing vivid acidity with a supple, finely textured mid-palate and a long, mineral-driven finish. The wine has the structure and balance to age gracefully, with its citrus and stone-fruit profile likely to develop greater complexity over the next several years.

Production
Block 2 comes from Felton Road’s biodynamically farmed vineyards in Bannockburn, Central Otago, where free-draining soils and a cool continental climate help preserve freshness and define the wine’s tension and clarity. The fruit is harvested by hand, with careful vineyard selection and a restrained, precise approach in the cellar to highlight the character of the site.

Food & Serving
This Chardonnay works beautifully with roast chicken, grilled lobster, seared scallops, or rich mushroom dishes. Serve chilled, ideally around 10–12°C, and decanting is generally not necessary, though a brief splash in the glass can help the wine open if enjoyed young.
