Tasting Notes
A deep ruby colour in the glass, the wine typically shows a polished and inviting profile from the outset. Expect lifted aromas of dark cassis, ripe black cherry, cedar, graphite, and subtle tobacco, with floral and spicy accents adding complexity. On the palate, Château Gloria usually combines ripe black fruit with firm but refined tannins, fresh acidity, and the savoury, mineral edge that defines great Saint-Julien. The finish is long and balanced, with the concentration to age gracefully over the next 8–15 years, and often longer in a strong vintage.

Production
Sourced from carefully selected vineyard parcels across Saint-Julien, the wine reflects the gravelly soils and tempering influence of the Gironde estuary, which help produce Cabernet Sauvignon-driven wines with depth and precision. The grapes are typically harvested parcel by parcel at optimal ripeness, then vinified traditionally with careful temperature control to preserve fruit purity, followed by ageing in oak to add structure and complexity.

Food & Serving
Ideal with grilled ribeye, roast lamb, duck breast, or slow-braised beef, as well as hard cheeses such as Comté or aged Manchego. Serve at around 16–18°C; decant for 1–2 hours if enjoying young, especially to soften the tannins and allow the aromatics to open fully.
