Production
O Gran Meín Blanco is sourced from old hillside vineyards in Ribeiro, primarily around the village of Leiro, where granitic soils with sand and stones, along with the region’s Atlantic-influenced climate, give naturally fresh, mineral-driven wines. The blend is built around Treixadura, complemented by other native white grapes such as Godello, Albariño, Loureira and others, all hand-harvested in small crates to preserve fruit integrity. In the cellar, the grapes are gently pressed and fermented with careful temperature control, often with indigenous yeasts, to respect the vineyard character. The wine then rests on fine lees in a mix of vessels—such as large neutral foudres, concrete, and used barrels—adding subtle texture and complexity without overt oak, before bottling with minimal intervention.

This Ribeiro white is a natural partner for seafood and delicately flavored dishes. It shines with oysters, clams, grilled prawns, and simply prepared white fish, but also pairs beautifully with ceviche, sushi, and lightly spiced Asian cuisine.
