Tasting Notes
Pale gold in the glass, this wine opens with a refined bouquet of yellow apple, quince and ripe citrus, layered with honey, wild herbs and a distinct mineral note. The aroma is complex yet restrained, promising both freshness and richness. On the palate it is dense, elegant and beautifully structured, with lively acidity that keeps the wine focused and vibrant. Fine texture, a salty finish and a long, layered aftertaste give it serious presence, and it has the balance to age gracefully for several years.

Production
The grapes come from more than 40-year-old bush vines in Bot River, where a cool coastal climate and mineral soils help preserve freshness while building concentration. They were harvested by hand and fermented spontaneously to allow the vineyard character to shine through. The wine then spent around 12 months in used French barriques, adding texture and structure without masking the fruit.

This is a versatile food wine that works especially well with fish, poultry and refined vegetarian dishes. It also pairs beautifully with mature cheese or lightly spiced Asian cuisine. Serve chilled at around 10–12°C, and decanting is optional but can help the wine open up if enjoyed young.
