Tasting Notes
In the glass, it typically shows a deep ruby to garnet color with good concentration. The nose leans toward ripe dark berries, plum, black cherry and subtle notes of spice, herbs and mineral earthiness, giving the wine a distinctly Mediterranean profile. On the palate, Can Blau is usually medium to full-bodied, with ripe fruit, firm but integrated tannins and a balanced line of freshness that keeps it lively. Expect layers of dark fruit, licorice, savory herbs and a touch of oak influence. It has the structure to develop nicely over the next few years, gaining complexity and softness with bottle age.
