Château Potensac lies in the northern Médoc, on classic Left Bank terroir of gravel, clay, and limestone that naturally favors Cabernet-based blends and gives the wines their signature minerality and structure. Vines are carefully tended and harvested parcel by parcel, typically picked by hand to ensure optimal ripeness and selection in a vintage as warm and concentrated as 2022. In the cellar, the wine is vinified in temperature-controlled tanks to preserve purity of fruit and freshness, followed by maturation in French oak barrels (a portion new) to add depth, polish the tannins, and build age-worthy structure while still allowing the character of the vineyard to shine through.
