This classic Médoc terroir—well-drained gravel over limestone and clay—favors Cabernet Sauvignon, giving wines with great structure, aromatic precision, and a distinctive graphite-mineral profile. Grapes are harvested parcel by parcel, typically by hand, to ensure optimal ripeness and careful selection both in the vineyard and at the sorting table. Vinification takes place in temperature-controlled vats, with gentle extraction to preserve fruit purity and tannin finesse, followed by aging in high-quality French oak barrels (a significant proportion new), where the wine gains additional complexity, texture, and integration before bottling.
