Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a deep, dense ruby-purple color that hints at its concentration and youthful intensity. The nose is layered and refined, with aromas of blackcurrant, dark cherry, graphite, cedar, tobacco leaf, violets, and a subtle touch of spice and toasted oak. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and polished, with ripe black fruit, firm yet well-integrated tannins, and the classic Pauillac backbone of freshness and mineral drive. The finish is long and persistent, balancing richness with energy. While already impressive, this is a wine with excellent aging potential and should develop beautifully over the next 15–25 years, especially in magnum format.

Sourced from the gravelly soils of Pauillac, the vineyard benefits from excellent drainage and the tempering influence of the nearby Gironde estuary, both crucial for producing wines of finesse, structure, and aromatic complexity. The estate is known for careful parcel selection and meticulous vineyard work, with harvesting typically carried out by hand at optimal ripeness to preserve fruit quality. Vinification is carried out with precision to respect each parcel’s character, followed by aging in oak barrels to build texture, integrate tannins, and add complexity without overshadowing the wine’s natural Cabernet-led profile.
