Tasting Notes
Expect a deep, youthful ruby color with a bright core. The nose typically leans toward blackcurrant, red berry fruit, graphite, cedar, and subtle floral and spice notes, showing both finesse and freshness. On the palate, Carruades de Lafite is usually polished and medium to full-bodied, with fine tannins, balanced acidity, and a silky, layered texture. The 2022 vintage should age beautifully for years to come, developing greater complexity and tertiary notes with cellaring, especially in magnum.

Made in Bordeaux on gravelly, well-drained soils associated with the Pauillac appellation, Carruades de Lafite benefits from the same meticulous vineyard philosophy as the grand vin. Food & Serving
This wine is an excellent match for roast lamb, beef tenderloin, duck, game birds, and mushroom-based dishes. Serve at around 16–18°C; decanting for 1–2 hours is recommended when young, while the magnum format will continue to reward patience in the cellar.
