Production
Château Duhart-Milon’s vineyards lie on classic Pauillac terroir: deep, well-drained gravel over a limestone-clay subsoil, perfectly suited to Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The gravel soils reflect heat and encourage full ripening, while proximity to the Gironde estuary tempers extremes of temperature, aiding slow, even maturation of the grapes. The fruit is typically harvested parcel by parcel at optimal ripeness, with careful sorting both in the vineyard and at the winery to ensure only the healthiest, most balanced berries are used. Vinification takes place in temperature-controlled vats, where each plot is fermented separately to preserve its character before blending. The wine is then matured in French oak barriques (with a proportion of new oak) for around 14–18 months, allowing tannins to integrate, texture to refine and the signature Pauillac aromatics of cedar and graphite to emerge.

This Pauillac is a natural partner for classic dishes such as roast lamb with rosemary, dry-aged ribeye steak, beef Wellington or slow-braised short ribs.
