Tasting Notes

On the palate, it is full-bodied yet polished, combining ripe dark fruit with fine tannins, fresh acidity, and a long, savory finish. The balance suggests excellent cellaring potential, with the wine likely to evolve beautifully over the next decade or more.

Production
Produced at Tenuta di Biserno in the coastal Tuscan terroir near Bolgheri, where gravelly, well-drained soils and the moderating influence of the sea help shape wines of concentration and finesse. The 2021 vintage reflects careful vineyard management and selective harvesting, followed by meticulous vinification designed to preserve purity, structure, and aromatic complexity.

Food & Serving
This is a superb partner for rich dishes such as grilled ribeye, braised lamb, venison, wild mushroom risotto, or aged hard cheeses. Serve at around 16-18°C, and decant for at least 1-2 hours to let the wine open fully.
