Grapes are harvested by hand at optimal ripeness, ensuring meticulous selection in the vineyard and at the winery. While historically vinified as a pure Cabernet Sauvignon aged in American oak, the modern iteration is predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon artfully blended with small proportions of Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Merlot, and Malbec, depending on the character of the vintage. Fermentation and élevage are carried out with a focus on clarity of fruit and textural finesse, with the wine matured in French oak barrels to enhance complexity, structure, and aromatic nuance.
