In the glass, it typically shows a deep ruby hue with a polished, youthful sheen. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied with fine-grained tannins, vibrant acidity, and a structured yet supple profile. Dark berry fruit, savory earth, and mineral nuances unfold with balance and precision. While approachable in youth compared to the grand vin, it should also reward several years of cellaring and can develop beautifully over the next 8 to 15 years.

Produced in Pauillac on the Left Bank of Bordeaux, Le Petit Mouton benefits from the estate’s gravel-rich soils, which provide excellent drainage and help the vines achieve strong ripeness and concentration.
