The 2021 vintage combines classic Left Bank structure with the finesse and accessibility that make this cuvée such an attractive choice for lovers of refined Bordeaux.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it typically shows a deep ruby color with youthful purple highlights. The nose opens with blackcurrant, blackberry, graphite, cedar, and subtle floral and spice notes, reflecting the estate’s signature elegant style. On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied with fine tannins, fresh acidity, and a layered core of dark fruit, tobacco, earth, and mineral nuance. The finish is composed and persistent, and while enjoyable in youth, it should also reward several years of cellaring, developing more complexity over the next 8 to 15 years.

Sourced from the vineyards of Château La Mission Haut-Brion in Pessac-Léognan, the wine benefits from Bordeaux’s gravelly soils, which encourage excellent drainage and contribute to the wine’s depth and precision. The grapes are carefully harvested and vinified with the same attention to detail as the grand vin, with fermentation and élevage designed to preserve purity of fruit, structure, and aromatic finesse.

This wine pairs beautifully with roast lamb, duck breast, beef tenderloin, game birds, and mushroom-based dishes. Serve at around 16–18°C, and consider decanting for 1–2 hours if opening young to allow the wine to fully раскры its aromatics and soften its tannins.
