Production
Château Haut-Brion Blanc comes from the estate’s exceptional gravel and sand soils over a clay subsoil in Pessac-Léognan, a terroir that brings both aromatic intensity and a distinctive mineral backbone. The vineyard is planted mainly to Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon, with low yields and meticulous hand-harvesting at optimal ripeness, often through several passes to select only perfect clusters. In the cellar, the grapes are gently pressed, and the must is fermented in oak barrels, a high proportion of which are new, followed by aging on fine lees with regular bâtonnage to build texture and complexity. The result is a finely tuned balance of fruit purity, oak integration and structural depth.

This is a grand gastronomic white that pairs beautifully with refined dishes such as turbot or sole with beurre blanc, lobster, scallops, sushi and sashimi, as well as roast chicken, veal in cream sauces and truffle-infused dishes.
