Tasting Notes
In the glass, it typically shows a bright ruby core that begins to hint at garnet at the rim. The nose is layered and refined, with aromas of red cherry, wild berries, dried rose, tobacco, leather, and a subtle earthy spice that develops beautifully with time in the glass. On the palate, it is poised and savory, with firm but polished tannins, fresh acidity, and a long, focused finish. Expect a wine that balances ripe fruit with mineral tension and classic Brunello structure. It can be enjoyed after some bottle age, but it also has the backbone to mature gracefully for many years.

Production
Sourced from vineyards around Montalcino, where Galestro and other well-draining soils help preserve freshness and aromatic lift, the wine reflects the region’s combination of altitude, sunlight, and Mediterranean influence. The grapes are harvested by hand at optimal ripeness, then vinified with traditional care to preserve purity and site expression, followed by aging in oak to build complexity and refinement.

Food & Serving
This Brunello is a natural match for roast lamb, beef tenderloin, game, wild mushroom risotto, and aged cheeses such as Pecorino Toscano. Serve at around 16–18°C, and consider decanting for 1–2 hours if drinking young to allow the wine’s aromas and structure to open fully.
