Tasting Notes
In the glass, it typically shows a deep ruby core with youthful intensity and refined concentration. The nose is layered and expressive, with ripe red and dark berries, sweet spice, cedar, vanilla, and subtle earthy notes, while the palate is structured yet polished, bringing together dark cherry, plum, tobacco, fine oak, and a long, balanced finish. This is a wine built for graceful evolution. While already highly enjoyable for its harmony and detail, it should continue to develop complexity over the coming years, gaining more nuance in its spice, leather, and tertiary characteristics.

Viña Coqueta comes from Rioja terroir shaped by a continental climate and the region’s mix of clay-limestone and alluvial soils, which help preserve freshness while supporting ripe fruit concentration.
