Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a deep, saturated ruby color with impressive concentration. The nose is rich and expressive, with aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, ripe plum, graphite, cedar, violets, and a subtle touch of baking spice and mocha. The palate is full-bodied and polished, with dense dark fruit, fine-grained tannins, and a beautifully balanced core of freshness and power. Notes of cassis, dark cherry, cocoa, and savory oak unfold across a long, structured finish. While already impressive, the 2018 vintage has the structure and balance to age gracefully for many years, especially in magnum format.

The grapes are carefully harvested at optimal ripeness and vinified with a focus on precision, extraction, and balance, then aged in French oak to integrate structure and enhance aromatic depth.

This is a natural match for premium cuts of beef, lamb, duck breast, venison, truffle dishes, and rich mushroom-based cuisine. Serve at around 16–18°C and consider decanting for 1–2 hours if opening young, especially to allow the wine’s layered aromas and tannins to fully open.
