Tasting Notes

Production
Viña Arana Gran Reserva comes from selected vineyards in Rioja, where the region’s combination of continental influence, limestone and clay soils, and warm days with cool nights helps preserve freshness and aromatic precision. Grapes are harvested by hand, then carefully sorted before vinification using the traditional methods that have long defined La Rioja Alta’s style. The wine is aged patiently in oak and bottle to build complexity, soften tannins, and create the layered, polished profile expected of a Gran Reserva.

Food & Serving
This is a wonderful match for roasted lamb, beef tenderloin, game birds, mushroom dishes, and slow-cooked meats, as well as aged Manchego or other mature hard cheeses. Serve at 16–18°C. Decanting for about 30 to 60 minutes is recommended to allow the aromas to open fully and the wine to show its best.
